We had a blast at 💦 Summer Water Fun Night! 💦 A great way to cool off after a hot day ending in yummy sundaes 🍦 Thank you to all of the helping hands who volunteered!! Join us next Wednesday for Galaxy Games!

Water Fun Night 6:30-8pm Water activities for kids ages 5 through entering 6th grade! Younger kids are welcome to play in the water bounce house. Looks like we shouldn't have to compete with weather. Come out and have fun!

So...it was another full day. And I have very few pictures to prove that we did anything useful. So here’s a picture of a new phenomenon among our students: all of them playing games together. It’s their new favorite thing. They sit near each other and play a variety of games. It’s fun to watch a ragtag group of kids become family.

Today was another full day. Serving lunch to guests at Samaritan Kitchen and back to NICE. The day was punctuated with crazy weird weather that leant a special something to our adventures. We ended the night by going to the bar, I mean the iconic Wildhorse Saloon, for dinner and line dancing. It was a good day.

So, today we worked and played hard—building relationships with both seniors (At and kids, being encouraged by both. And we had a bit of fun today as well: debriefing at the Parthenon and eating delicious Indian Food. Day one of SMT Nashville: Today we drove, through 4 states and one sudden downpour from a very suddenly dark sky, and arrived in Nashville for a week of serving and learning. This post is simply to tell you that we made it. And here’s the obligatory group photo.
